Digital menu for gelato shops
Your gelateria's digital menu, with flavours always current
In a gelateria the flavours rotate with the season and run out by mid-afternoon: pistachio is here today, gone tomorrow. With Menudetto you update the digital case by talking, and customers read it from a QR, with flavours and allergens always in step with what's actually in the tubs.
Built for how you work
Rotating flavours, always current
Add and remove flavours with the season, no faded tags or labels rewritten by hand.
Allergens on nuts and milk
Hazelnut, pistachio, dairy: flagged flavour by flavour, with traces written in the description, where customers read them.
Flavour finished? It stays, struck through
Mark pistachio sold out: it stays on the list, struck through, with “Sold out” next to it, and no one orders it. No explaining at the counter.
Dairy-free: guests filter on their own
Milk, eggs, nuts: each flavour's allergens in a tap, and whoever can't have milk filters the water-based flavours on their own.
Frequently asked questions
How do I update the available flavours?
Tell Menudetto: add a new flavour or mark one sold out, and the counter menu changes at once.
Can I show allergens for each flavour?
Yes. For every flavour you mark which of the 14 EU allergens it contains, and you confirm them. Traces have no field of their own: a warning like “may contain traces of nuts” goes in the flavour's description. The QR filter reads the 14 allergens, not the description, so that's where anyone avoiding nuts will read it.
Can I highlight dairy-free or vegan flavours?
Dairy-free, yes: you flag each flavour's allergens and whoever reads the QR filters out the ones with milk. "Vegan" isn't an EU allergen: you write it in the flavour's description, and it stays visible.
