Frequently asked questions

Is this tool really free?

Yes, and no card is needed. It's Menudetto's writing assistant, open to everyone: rewrite a few dishes whenever you like. Working through a whole menu needs an account — the free one is enough.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Type the dish and the three variants come straight back. An account only matters if you want the rewrites applied across the menu and kept in sync with your QR, print and translations.

Does the AI make ingredients up?

No, by design. It only rewrites what you wrote: it never adds sourcing, freshness, preparation or ingredients that aren't there. If your own text carries regulated claims — organic, PDO, homemade — it flags them, because you have to be able to prove them.

Can I use these descriptions on my printed menu?

Yes — the text is yours: put it on the printed menu, the website, the chalkboard. Before it goes to print, reread it and check every word is true of your dish.
